First step was to build up manpower to the DSC , advertising , recruiting , selecting and training them .During this short period I designed employee’s profile, interviewing form (first and second interview) and a complete training program, transferring the skills to the trainee and provide them with all knowledge and skills needed. General Manager September 1997 to – 31 December 2004 GETRAC GULF (Manama – Bahrain) International Training and Consultancy Company) I initiated, developed, organised and supervised the establishment of their Gulf regional office in Bahrain in 1997, launched the activities and generated business in all Gulf Countries. Business development, planning, budgeting and cash flow management was the main target of my duties as a general manager. I was also responsible for putting the yearly training plan for the company which included more than 200 courses per year plus seminars and conferences, as well as organizing several forums and symposiums in the regions. I was also responsible for marketing these activities to more than 3000 clients from different sectors in the Gulf Area and the Middle East. Frequently marketing visits was a part of my job. Regional Marketing and Sales Manager February 1997 – August 1997 Pharma Vision (Pharmaceutical Training and Consultancy Company providing its services in Egypt, the Middle East and Gulf Area) {Cairo – Egypt} I implemented Sales and marketing strategies for the company to enter the market, designed budgets scheme and targets to be achieved, I also designed and implemented training plans including training courses that matched the needs of these clients. I was responsible for all training activities, supervising the training function, choosing the trainers and revising the training materials. I was also in charge of the marketing and sales activities both locally and regionally Regional Marketing and Sales Manager June 1993-to January 1997 Gebril for Training and Consultancy (An international training organization based in Cairo having branches all over the Arab world in association with Canadian and Swedish organizations) {Cairo- Egypt} My duties were to cover all marketing activities for our training courses and consultancies in the Gulf area, to implement strategies in order to win new markets and new customers. In charge of all maintenance and repair work in this German construction company. The duties included mechanical and electrical installation, operation, supervision of pumps, engines, generators, air conditioners, compressors, and motors and developing maintenance plans. Senior Technical Trainer April 1980 – October 1982 Ministry of Defense, Vocational Training Center {Cairo-Egypt}. As a trainer in this vocational training center for technical subjects as; operation, maintenance and repair of tanks, heavy diesel engines, generator, vehicles, etc. Later, I was in charge of all educational and training activities, implementing new ideas and methods of training for the institute.
