2. SIT GMP Cleanroom
Sit has developed a wide variety of components ( walls, ceilings, doors and glazing) so that the finished product can
meet the Cleanroom standards of ISO 14644-1 and cGMP, PIC. The walls and ceilings of SIT AS46 GMP
Cleanrooms consists of one-piece or modular pre-fabricated sandwich panels. The construction of the sandwich
panel can be chosen according the customer requirements. The surface can be either aluminium or steel powder
coated or stainless steel polished with different core materials like EPS or foam glass.

Doors AS46 GMP
The SIT GMP single or double doors are flush on both side with
a double sealing and an automatic sealing against the floor. The
doors can be equipped with all electrical door lock systems. All
push buttons are integrated in the door frame.
Panels AS46 GMP
The unique panel design creates strong, rigid structure without
external bracing. The panels are precision-joined to create ultra-
smooth surfaces that are easy to wipe down and disinfect.

The ceiling can be self-bearing,
using the walls as a support and
where necessary hooked to the
building. The ceiling might be

Sealed recessed light fittings for ceiling
with aperture, demountable from
above. The inside of the light fixture
can be accessed via the ceiling void.

flush integrated in the AS46 panel system.
Dependant on the application, diffusors or

Air conditioning
The Air Handling Units is an integrated part of the
Cleanroom and provides precise uniform
temperature controlled air. A pressure control
system keeps the clean room pressure stabilized
to a certain value.
Air Handling Units are turn key systems with all
control electronic integrated. They contain five
integral systems: Cooling system, fan, control
electronic, pre-filter system, motorized flaps and
silencer. Humidification and dehumidification ca be
integrated as an option.
