  2. 2.  Early Childhood Education is the formal teaching and care of young children. I chose this career because I love little kids and being around them.
  3. 3.  Playing outdoors with the little kids. Indoors doing crafts and eating snacks. Planning lessons Teaching basics lessons that will help kids grow up.
  4. 4.  In a classroom and outside. Depending on the age 3 to 7 hours. Plus planning outside of work. Having to deal with behavioral issues sometimes.
  5. 5.  Training Qualifications: (1) earning an undergraduate or graduate degree in early childhood education or child development, (2) earning an associate degree in early childhood education, early child care and development, or child development, (3) developing and demonstrating competency through a competency- based assessment system such as the National Child Development Associate (CDA) program.

  7. 7.  Computers are used in this career for looking up lesson plans and getting ideas for new things. CD players are used to play CD’s like veggie tales and stuff. Teaching basic computer skills to the children. They are beneficial because they can supply you with new ideas you might not have ever been able to find in books. CD players are beneficial because they teach little kids things through songs. Helps them get ahead in life. Computers=buying books and things that had lesson plans. CD players=cassette players Computers=type writers.
  8. 8.  I would still chose to be a early childhood educator because even though I may not make a lot of money I would be happy. I could do what I want, teach kids, and be around little kids.
