The Genocide in DarfurDarfur is part of Sudan, the largest country in Africa
Darfur people aremainly Arab herders and African farmers. Even thougth they are in the same country they donot coexist peacefully.
The African farmers hire radical militias to exterminate the Arab herders.These militias do not discriminate they kill every one in a village.
The militias kill everyone in a village men, women, and children.20,000 to 700,000 people have been killed in darfur.
The government denies that they support the militias. However they arm and ﬁnancialysupport them because of the need for land for the farmers.

The media is restricted in darfur because of the government trying to destroy the herders.This reporter is trying to inform peopleabout the need for food and clean water.
The need for food and clean drinking water is diremany people contract water borne illnesses because of the lack of good water. The U.N. cannot provide enough for the 5 million displaced by this genocide.
The United Nations has been bringing in food and water but yetthey need more to help these people.
Darfur is a genocide that needs immediateattention because of the savage murders of and women.
