Marketing Plan

  1. 1.  We feel our target audience would be: Middle Aged People Possibly with children aged twelve and upwards Interested in the world around them
  2. 2.  Our sub- target audience would be: Teenaged People Who are interested in how they are perceived Possibly not within the current stereotype
  3. 3.  For our print work we will use: Images associated with stereotypes of youths - this indicates to the audience exactly what the documentary is about Contrasting images of counter stereotypes - this will show we are challenging the stereotypes and not just presenting them Channel 4 print work essentials - so the public know where they can see it.
  4. 4.  We wanted to convey what the documentary entails: The graffiti is commonly associated with youths We show that we may be challenging the stereotype as the pictures are of educational items The article will go on the side We feel this may appeal to our target audience as it is an unusual platform in which to see these pictures
  5. 5.  This would be an advertisement seen in a newspaper For this draft it would be a quarter of a page It represents the fact that the documentary is a ‘Through the looking glass’ style We have kept the common ‘Channel 4’ advert indents It would appeal to our target audience as the colour contrast which would be in place show the challenge of the perception of young people
