Global warming

The term 'Global Warming' refers to an expected rise in global temperature due to certain human activities.

The reason behind this increase in temperature is the continued emission of Carbon Dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere which are capable of trapping heat.

The carbon dioxide concentration in our atmosphere has increased about 15% during the past century.

The result is that the layer of CO2 so formed over earth absorbs the sun's heat and thus prevents its escape thus causing the green house effect.

Global warming

  1. 1. GLOBAL WARMING………. An adverse effect of Human Activities
  2. 2. INTRODUCTION The term Global Warming refers to an expected rise in global temperature due to certain human activities. The reason behind this increase in temperature is the continued emission of Carbon Dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere which are capable of trapping heat. The carbon dioxide concentration in our atmosphere has increased about 15% during the past century. The result is that the layer of CO2 so formed over earth absorbs the suns heat and thus prevents its escape thus causing the green house effect.
  3. 3. HOW HARMFUL IT IS? Even within the next 20 years, different regions of the world will likely see longer droughts, more flooding and more frequent extreme weather changes. Increased global warming will also affect natural habitats and water resources. Human well-being, including business and economic development, could well be at risk. The most serious impacts will most likely include human health, agriculture, and natural habitats.
  4. 4. Its impacts can be broken down into following: Whether Depletion Human Natural Agriculture changes of ozone Health Habitats layer
  5. 5. What Can we do to prevent Global Warming? Efficient home appliances and electronics Reduce waste Fuel efficient production vehicles Ways to prevent global warming Reduction of Recycling electricity consumption Planting Trees
