- 2. A Research Tool • Vedic mathematics is a research tool and an introduction to an ancient Indian Civilisation. • This amazing system has come from ancient Vedas and re-constructed by Swami Bharathi Krishna Tirthaji ( 1911- 1918 ), late Sankaracharya of Govardhana puri.

- 4. The System • In the Vedic system difficult problems can be solved by single line method with the help of simple word-formulae. • These striking and beautiful methods are just a part of a Complete system of mathematics which is far more systematic than the modern system.
- 5. Simplicity • The Simplicity of Vedic maths means Calculations can be carried out mentally ( though the methods can be written down ). • The Children can invent their own methods , they are not limited to the one correct method. This leads to more creativity in the Children.
