VPC name: not necessarily required

1. Select AWS Marketplace tab
2. Enter "Movable Type 6" in order to find the
Movable Type AMI packages.

1. You can see three packages of Movable Type
6 in the result page.
2. Select a package according to the Web Server
you would like to use.

18. Launch EC2 Instance
1. Click Continue at the bottom of the page.

1. Select an instance type. m3.medium is
selected in the default.
In the Apache edition, "t2.micro" and "t1.micro" are not selectable
because Apache requires memory than nginx. If you would like to use
micro instance, please select a nginx edition.
2. Click Next: Configure InstanceDetails .

20. Launch EC2 Instance
1. In "Network" field, select the VPC you've just
created.
2. In "Subnet" field, select the public subnet
which made with a new VPC.
3. Other fields, you can change to any if needed.
4. Click Next: Add Storage .

1. Enter the storage size, and select a volume
type. In most cases, do not need to change.
2. Click Next: Tag Instance .

1. Set the value to "Name" for tagging, it is
convenient to manage later.
2. Clic Next: Configure Security Group .

1. The recommended security groups (SSH,
HTTP) are set in default. Change or add rules
as needed.
2. Click Review and Launch .

1. If you already have a key pair, choose from an
existing key pair.

2. Enter any name in the Key pair name field
and click Download Key Pair .

can see that the Elastic IP address is associated

ssh -i <Key Pair File Name> ec2-user@<IP Address>
1. Let s try to connect to the EC2 server with the
Elastic IP by ssh.
2. Launch the terminal and type the command
at the bottom of this page.
* <Key Pair File Name> and <IP Address> should be
replaced with yours.
