WEEK ONE HOMEWORK<br />Hello AS Photographers<br />Your homework this week is:<br />like huish photography on facebook<br />join the moodle course<br />on moodle click on the New Student Profile Survey and fill it in<br />Write your name clearly on the inside cover of your new sketchbook and add a plea that it is returned if lost.  Use the college phone number and address if you don't want to put your own.<br />Make a Title Page for your new sketchbook (instructions below) DUE MONDAY<br />present your practical work across a double page in your sketchbook (instructions below)  DUE MONDAY<br />BRING in objects to be used for photograms - glass objects, things with interesting silhouettes, things with varying opacities, natural objects like pretty shaped leaves or seed-heads...  NEXT LESSON<br />buy your 'kit' or Photographic paper at Box Office<br />Title page<br />Text: Mystery and Imagination.  <br />Optional Text: Unit One<br />Optional text 2: AS Photography<br />Imagery: use your own photographs or drawings or photograms/pinhole camera images to decorate the page.  <br />Plan your composition and layout.  Think about using photocopying creatively or different fonts, different papers or cutting out shapes.  <br />Presentation of your practical work<br />Use a double page for your pinhole images and another double page for the photograms<br />Plan your composition and layout before you start<br />Plan your background or decorative style before you start.  Think about using photocopying creatively or different fonts, different papers or cutting out shapes.  Look in your handbook for other ideas. <br />NO GLITTER!<br />Do not use anyone else's imagery on these pages - no Googling!<br />Put all the ones that went wrong as well as the perfect images.  You get marks for showing your creative journey and getting better and better. You get marks for being able to prove your problem-solving skills - discuss WHY it worked or didn't work and how to improve it.  you might need to leave space for some more images next week.<br />ANNOTATE your prints.  Use the sheet in the handbook to help.  The sketchbook example on moodle is jam-packed full of annotation for you to read as examples. <br />
