Study Programme is a programme that we run at Pathway Progression to help young people back into employment. Our study programme gives young people the help that they need to gain the skills and qualifications that they need for employment.

By running the Study Programme we make sure that young people have the best route into employment possible. What is it? The Study Programme is a selection of tailor made courses designed to provide achievement for students in the following: - Basic English/ Maths and Information Technology (Functional Skills). - Personal Social Development (Life Skills). - Employability Skills (Curriculum Vitae, Interview Skills etc). - A work-based placement to enhance and underpin learning, providing a valuable opportunity to gain ’hands on’ experience. - A basic starting point to help you move forward into your chosen career. Students are encouraged to attend on a full time basis but we also offer flexible learning packages for students who only able to attend on a part time basis.   2. 2. Who is eligible? Young People aged 16-1 8 (or 16-24 if they have a statement of Special Educational Needs). You don't need formal qualifications to start on the Study Programme. What is offered? - Travel expenses will be refunded and free lunches are provided. - Parents/ carers will still be entitled to receive Child Benefit as the course is classed as a full time educational provision. - On—going support and guidance to ensure that you stay focused and engaged with your learning. - An individual action plan to identify your learning journey. This will be reviewed regularly throughout the programme. At the end of the programme we will assist your progress onto an apprenticeship, traineeship or further education.
