What are the qualifications about?
The Level 2 Diploma in Playwork is an introduction to the primary aspects of working with
children and young people between the ages of 4 to 16 in play environments. They provide
an understanding of Playwork values, and the importance of play and Playwork in children
and young people’s lives.
Who are the qualifications for?
They are for anyone who wishes to work in a supervised role in a wide range of Playwork
environments. You may be looking to be a Playwork Assistant, Assistant Playworker,
After-school Club Playwork Assistant, Adventure Centre Assistant, Soft-play Area Assistant.
