Bronze oil lamp with a single spout, a pedestal
base covered with raised geometric designs,
the handle with a bird mounted on the top,
the hinged lid also with a bird on the top.
Dark green patina.

Terracotta oil lamp with a raised cross to the
ansa and center.Various circular designs on the
top.Traces of carbon residue around wick hole.

4. HOLY LAND TERRACOTTA
OIL LAMP 27535
Terracotta oil lamp with the Greek
letters of CHI (the cross or ‘X’), and
the letter RHO.The combination
of these two symbols for the early
Christians spelled CHRist. A decora-
tive border surrounds the monogram.

Bronze oil lamp with four spouts, pedestal base,
side handle, a standing long-necked bird to the top
of the handle, the hinged top
allowing for the refill of oil,
sitting on top of that is a seated
short-winged bird,
the surface with decorative
patterns. Light earthen patina.

elongated ansa with a Menorah.

bird on the top. Dark patina with
heavy earthen encrustations.
