Kalmadi accepts blame for CWG mess; India's image dented, says Fennell<br />New Delhi, Sep 25 (IANS) After days of denial, Commonwealth Games OrganisingCommitee (CGOC) chairman Suresh Kalmadi Saturday accepted the blame for the mess surrounding the Oct 3-14 event, but cushioned this by saying the government agencies had not delivered the infrastructure on time<br />There are concerns which remain, mainly related to cleanliness<br />Some 7,000 participants and officials from 71 countries and territories are expected to attend the Commonwealth Games.<br />
  3. 3. Advani urges Supreme Court to allow Ayodhyajudgment<br />Somnath, Sep 25 (IANS) Senior BharatiyaJanata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani Saturday urged the Supreme Court to allow a decision on the Ayodhya dispute by the Allahabad High Court, and said people had been waiting for a judgment in the case for over past five decades.<br />The high court was to deliver its verdict on the BabriMasjid-Ramjanmabhoomi title suit on Sep 24.<br />Advani said he respected the judicial system of the country and added that he had appealed to party workers to maintain calm.<br />

Govt to tie up with TERI for climate change action plan<br />The Uttar Pradesh government is all set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi for implementation of the state action plan for climate change.<br />TERI will support us during implementation of the state action plan for climate change in next 10 to 15 years<br />The draft MoU will soon be sent to all the eight core groups formed for missions<br />
