Surviving on other planets

  1. 1. List of things needed to survive onother planetsOxygenGravityPlantsAnimalsnutritionliquidsSleepComfortable temperatureWast disposalshelter
  2. 2. OxygenOxygen is needed for the human body to survive without it humans oranimals wouldn’t be able to breath.
  3. 3. GravityGravity is needed for the human body otherwise you would float off theplanet. The bigger the planet the more gravity.
  4. 4. Comfortable temperatureComfortable temperature is needed other wise the human body could freezeor dehydrate/burn to death.
  5. 5. Wast disposalWast disposal is needed otherwise you would get sick from dead bodys andwast.
  6. 6. ShelterShelter is needed to keep warm and stay cool.
  7. 7. nutritionTo survive on a different planet to earth you would need to have ocontinuous supply of food. Some appropriate food sources would be animalsfor meat, eggs or dairy, plants for fruit, vegetables or nuts.
  8. 8. PlantsPlants are an importaint part to survival of humans and anyother livingcreature on the planet. the plants inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygenwish is the gas that we inhale. Plants also help in the water cycle they suckup the water in the ground and it evapurates out of their leves then rainsdown out of the sky into the rivers
  9. 9. liquidsLiquids are needed for the human body. The human body is made up of 57%water. Without water the human body wouldn’t be able to survive. Water isthe most impotent thing for the human body to survive (not includingoxygen)
  10. 10. AnimalsAnimals are important to humans survival they create a source of food byeither laying eggs and creating milk or being killed for meat. they can also behelpful by disposing of wast.
  11. 11. SleepSleep is essential to the human body sleep is needed for energy. If no sleepwas applied to the human body the body would have no energy.Scientist don’t exactly know why we need sleep.Sleeping slows down your metabolic
  12. 12. JupiterJupiter is a gas giant it’s imposable to live on because you can’t even touchit. Its basically a giant space cloud with an atmosphere made ofapproximately 75% hydrogen and 24% helium with one precent of massmade of other elements. If you can’t stand on it then you would’t be able to create shelter, find water, stand, survive.Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. Jupiters mass is 2.5 timesthe mass of all the other planets in our solar system combined. Jupiter has adiameter 11 times the diameter of Earth.Jupiter is the fastest rotating planet in our solar system with a day length ofapproximately 9.9 Earth hours.Jupiter has 16 moonsDiameter: 142,984 kmRotation: 0.41
  13. 13. SunThe sun is made of hydrogen and helium without the sun our solar systemwouldnt even existDiameter: 1.4 million kmRotation: 27 dayssurface term: 5,500 cTemperature: 15 million c
  14. 14. VenusDistance from sun: 108 million kmDiameter: 12,102 kmRotation: 243 RLength of year: 0.62Moons: 0Very bright because its surrounded in clouds that reflect lightHeat from the sun gets in but cant get out its 500 cVenus is a terrestrial planet it’s possible to stand on but you cant liv on itbecause theres no oxygen it is too hot and has no water.
  15. 15. EarthDistance from sun: 150 million kmDiameter: 12,756 kmLength of year: 365 Earth days/ 1 yearMoons: 1Earth is the only planet in the milky way that has life on it.The Earth is the only planet with a massive amount of water on it.The Earth is a terrestrial planet it’s the third planet from the sun.Earth is expected to support life for the next 500 million years. There is roughly 72% of water covering the surface of the Earth.
  16. 16. MarsMars is a terrestrial planet the fourth planet from the sun it is sometimesknown as the red planet.Mars has a thin atmosphere and spins close to the same time as the EarthMars has craters like the Moon and volcanoes, valleys and deserts like theEarth. It has approximately half the radius of the EarthDistance from the sun: 207 million kmDiameter: 6,792 kmLength of year: 1.88 Earth years/ 686.98 Earth daysMoons: 2 (asteroid size)
