  2. 2. Costumes Vampires, witches, ghost, zombies, and pirates, are a few of the popular costumes. Not only do people dress up themselves but some bring their pets into the fun.
  3. 3. Movies As halloween approaches more people watch scary movies. Top five scary movies of this decade are The Cabin In The Woods, Insidious, Insidious 2, Trick or Treat, and The Splinter.
  4. 4. Activities Halloween activities are fun for kids and families that want to get into the spooky spirit! Haunted houses, carving pumpkins, Halloween recipes, crafts, corn mazes, hayrides and games, are fun ideas to do during halloween.
  5. 5. $$money$$ The average American will spend about $70.00 on Halloween. Costumes usually cost around $30 per costume, about $20 for candy, and $20 for decorations.

Trick or Treating TIPS - If possible go to a wealthy neighborhood - Never refuse candy even if you don’t like it, you can trade later - To double your candy, go around the neighborhood twice, once with a mask and once with face paint or a different mask - A neighborhood with small yards and sidewalks allow you to hit more houses - Being polite might earn you more candy
  7. 7. Warnings -Carry a cell phone -Don’t eat all your candy in 1 day -Go with at least one person - Don’t eat candy with open wrappers - Don’t go to houses with their lights off, they probably are not home - Don’t be greedy
