  17. 17. One of the advantages for cultural workers is that mapping allows to get a fresh perspective by looking at datafrom different points of view: cross cultural, public access, concentration, networking. Also, mapping can helpcultural workers gain an objective overview of relationships that cut cross disciplines. It can also be used as tool tolocate gaps, needs and overlaps in arts and cultural activities in certain areas in local communities. However, mapping can be a demanding process and feasibility is an important consideration. Does theorganization has the money, the time and the human resources to see it through? A good question to ask iswhether mapping would be the most useful and economical approach. 19. 19. Value PropositionFor community art program planners who want to enrich the culturallandscape in the community. Our product offers the opportunity to develop visual representations ofthe tangible and intangible benefits of cultural resources. This will be accomplished through a series of mapping techniquesfocusing on identifying and documenting local cultural resources.Unlike the cultural inventory method, which mainly focuses onquantitative data, our approach combines quantitative and qualitativemethodologies which in turn offers a deeper insight into diversity, historyand identity.
