  • @Virtual Assistant Agreed. Thank you for watching!

@jdevo25 Thanks for the insights! In my opinion, the main advantage of posting a video on YouTube is that YouTube itself is a marketing channel with a widespread, active audience. (ie. even viewers who are not purposely looking up your company may happen to stumble upon your video). As long as copyrights are not an issue, I believe YouTube videos can also be embedded in emails, websites, etc. Stream video, on the other hand, has the advantage of providing live feed content, and can be embedded or linked to a website/email without being constrained by YouTube rules (content-wise), but the videos will be limited in their reach. (ie. stream video that is featured on a company website will only be seen by consumers who purposely visit the company site; video in emails will only reach a set mailing list). Overall effectiveness, therefore, would depend on how much traffic a company's site gets - how loyal your audience is to your own platforms.

  • YouTube being the second largest search engine in the world would be a great medium to promote your product or services.

  • I made a YouTube resume a few weeks ago. I embedded it. You’ve got a lot of good examples. The Old Spice campaign wasn’t the first instance of social video, but it did cause the biggest boom. What are you thoughts on stream video in marketing; even though it isn’t a functionality of YouTube?
