Maintenance<br />Below are some simple things that users can consider to protect their data, computer and network.<br />Maintain current Windows Updates – must restart<br />Frequently backup important files <br />(Not every school has Redirected Folders)<br />Do not share passwords<br />Do not click on random links<br />Beware of unknown emails and attachments<br />Do not download unknown software from the internet<br />Logout or Lock your computer when you have to leave<br />Shut down lab computers at the end of the day<br />Shut down projectors when not in use<br />Surge protect all computer equipment<br />
