I am passionate about distributed systems, search engines and all innovation in the area of technology. I strongly believe that disruptive innovations in the web area (including mobile) will change entire markets and I enjoy advancing and being part of that change. Furthermore, I believe in sharing our knowledge and in the vibrancy and collegiality of the open source community and am therefore regularly involved in organising tech events and speaking at conferences.
