It has three stages of reduction of pressure, which gives it stability in both high as low pressure in the fueling, varying the amount of gas stored, and a coil of low pressure in the output of the third stage. The absorption of heat collected from the engine cooling fluid prevents the freezing during the fall of pressure. The flow of gas to idle is obtained by main tube through the vacuum generated by the engine.

INJECTORS EMULATOR:  During gas operation, these electronic devices cut off the flow of petrol on cars equipped with electronic injection and emulate the signal of the injectors or other sensors. STAP (SPARK TIMING ADVANCE PROCESSOR):  These devices change the engine spark advance when running on natural gas and restore the original spark advance every time you switch on to petrol supply.   20. 20. MULTIPOINT SEQUENTIAL INJECTION SYSTEM EVO GAS: Landi Renzo EVO GAS is an injection system that combines performance and easy installation. The mono-connector electronic control unit and the new GIRS 12 rail allow a simple calibration focusing on essential quality.
  21. 21. REGULATOR NG1-2 REGULATOR NG1-2: This is a compensated, one-stage diaphragm type regulator, with water-gas heat exchanger, filter, high- pressure gas solenoid valve and safety valve. It is calibrated for a supply pressure that is 2 bar (200 kPa) above the pressure of the intake manifold. The maximum flow rate is 22 Kg./h. These regulators can be provided with linear electronic sensor. It has a gas electro valve with filter and internal security valve. It is calibrated to output a pressure of 2 bar (200 kPa) higher than the pressure in the collector of admission.   24. 24. ECU ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT(ECU): The control and drive of the system is affected by the EVO gas Electronic Control Unit (ECU) which is therefore considered the "brains" of the system. It takes a trigger signal from the Petrol ECU and diverts this signal to the gas injectors via a series of calculations (in order to deliver the correct amount of gas). It relies on a series of inputs from the engine for these calculations. (Water Temperature, Gas Temperature, Gas Pressure, engine RPM and many others). The new Landi Renzo EVO ECU approved for Euro and Euro 5 applications. Summaries the concept of absolute quality . The strengths of this new control unit are the reliability and precision of the self-calibrating features, which facilitate quick and successful vehicle calibration. The fact that the mapping can be adjusted and the integration with petrol, if required, are however maintained . With Landi Renzo EVO, it is also possible to diagnose the petrol injector connections and functioning of individual gas injectors .
  25. 25. INJECTOR RAIL INJECTOR RAIL :  The Landi Renzo gas injectors are the best in the world. The EVO- A injector rail combines the techniques of high-end injection rails with exceptional resistance to gas impurities, which means a gas filter is no longer strictly needed.  They are a "side-fed" injector which reduces, substantially, the possibility of blockage and failure by contaminated gas.  High-performances injectors  Compact dimensions: easier to install  Noiseless and resistant injector rail  Higher level of sealing through the IP6K9K connector  Available in 4 sizes to be adapted to all engines  2, 3, 4 cylinders versions  Fuel rails are designed to include pressure and temperature sensors that enable precise fuel metering under the broadest range of operating conditions.  Natural gas flow mass is metered by the electronic fuel injectors according to the processed signals from either the engine or AFCM controller  A strong and robust electric motor, which gives the injector its distinctive clicking sound, is triggered by the Gas ECU allowing a controlled amount of Gas to enter the engine at the correct time. The injectors can deliver enough gas to "feed" 40KW's per cylinder.

GAS FILTER GAS FILTER:  Natural gas is gathered from a pipeline and travels to a connecting compressor station which elevates its pressure to a range from 2000 psi to 5000 psi before finally being ready for use in natural gas vehicles  Contaminants can enter into the gas at any stage of this processing  In addition to stationary filtration, on-board filtration is critical to ensure clean gas is available as a final product at the engine injectors  This is located between the regulator and the injector rail and has the function of filtering the NATURAL GAS in the gas phase. The filter contains a 10 μm cartridge.
  27. 27. MAP SENSOR MAP SENSOR The MAP sensor detects the pressure inside the intake manifold for the correct functioning of the gas control unit.

INDICATOR SWITCH INDICATOR SWITCH : Electronic control module with the following functions:  Gas/petrol switch and monitoring of the current fuel in use by means of two LEDs.  Monitoring of gas fuel level tank by means of 5 LEDs.  The switch is also equipped with an acoustic signal (buzzer) which sounds when the system reverts to petrol mode either due to low pressure or when an error is detected.

BENEFITS OF CNG  For having higher octane rating, CNG minimizes the knocking tendency and detonation of the engine.  Again as a gaseous and clean fuel it perfectly mixes up with air and get burnt inside the engine without keeping residual HC, which results no soot particle in the lubricating oil and increase the life of lubricating oil.  CNG driven vehicle takes minimum maintenance cost.  CNG is cheaper than any other fuel, it saves more than 80% fuel cost.
