  4. 4. Profile: Naila Chowdhury, Chairman & CEO Naila Chowdhury is Chairman & CEO of TeleConsult Group in Bangladesh & USA. Previously she held the position of Director Customer Relations, Human Resources, Revenue Assurance, Billing, Walk in Service Centers of GramenPhone Ltd. She held position as Director, Customer Relations in Telenor Pakistan. She served as CHAIRMAN & CEO, HIIT - Training & Skill Development Institute. She also supports on a contractual basis as a Consultant & Group Director/Advisor. In large multinational organizations and MNCs in Bangladesh. She is recipient of WHO‟S WHO INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL RECOGNITION for the year 2008. Recently, she has received an award for her excellent contribution to development of Human Resource in Bangladesh for the year 2006 from BSTD – Bangladesh Society for Training & Development & Rapport Bangladesh. “Presenter of the BBC documentary Michael Palin was accompanied by Naila Chowdhury, during Grameen Banks visit to Village Phone site. She also acted as an interpreter during the interview with Abida. The BBC team is visiting Bangladesh as part of its 2,000-mile journey from Afghanistan to the Bay of Bengal to film the documentary.” She started her professional career in UNICEF, Bangladesh. Subsequently she had worked in Marketing in Marie Stopes and was a key person in branding the organization‟s present logo. Then on she joined DHL, World Wide Express as Head of Customer Service and had an enriching experience establishing best practices from Asia to other countries for long 5 years. She is a pioneer in setting up State of the Art 24X7 Call Center in DHL Express- Bangladesh. At this point of time she started her International in-house training unit for Team Building, Leadership and Quality Customer Service in DHL in association with other affiliates of DHL mainly in India, Malaysia & Singapore.   5. 5. ……profile continued Her appointment as Director of Customer Relations in GrameenPhone Ltd in 1999. was through a reputed head hunting company. During her enriching tenure in Grameen Phone, the GSM Mobile Company became one of the largest leading organizations in Bangladesh with the highest growth in Customer Service. She was subsequently given additional responsibility and made Director Human Resources from 1st March 2000 to September 2003. She is one of the only Director‟s in Grameen Phone who held two portfolio‟s simultaneously. She has had the privilege to work in seven countries by merit of her expertise and has lead Customer service and Call Center projects as Synergy Head of Asia-Telenor. Her Telenor Projects gave her exposure to work in Ukraine, Hungary, Thailand, Malaysia, Norway, Denmark, Pakistan & Bangladesh. She holds a Masters Degree in Marketing from Dhaka University. She has also attained Sr. Executive Business Management Diploma from Singapore National University and has also completed Sr. Executive Management Diploma from Stockholm School of Economics. She had the privilege and expertise to travel and write project reports on few European affiliates of Telenor on „Best Practice & Synergy Effect‟ like Pannon-Hungary, Sonofon-Denmark, Oslo-Norway, Djuice-Sweden & Kyivstar-Ukraine. While in her position as Head of Revenue Assurance at Grameen Phone along with the other portfolio‟s she has completed Fraud Analysts course from i2 University in Cambridge. During her international posting, she was on unpaid leave from Grameen Phone Ltd while still holding portfolio of Director Customer Service. She also shouldered additional responsibility and was in charge of the Village phone Project of Grameen Bank on behalf of Grameen Phone Ltd for 2001 & mid 2004. She has attended the quarterly Board meetings with Grameen Bank and in many occasions had the privilege to work along side with Noble Laureate Prof Md. Yunus‟s team from Grameen Telecom.   6. 6. ……profile continued She worked as a Task Force member in Telenor, Oslo, Norway. This was right before license purchase and launch of Telenor Pakistan . This was in recognition of her expertise, as one of the most skilled Synergy Experts in Service from Asia. She has had successful project implementation in- Kyivstar-Ukraine, DTAC- Thailand, DiGi-Malaysia, Grameen Phone-Bangladesh and Telenor Pakistan on the basis of her diversified expertise and skill. She is well known for her timely process and policy implementation in every unit under her leadership. INSEAD has written about her expertise in their formal report (Ease of reference Google naila chowdhury) on rapid progress of Telenor in Asia. She is well traveled and has represented her company in many prestigious International forums, seminars and workshops. She has successfully held responsibility as Acting Managing Director in absence of the Managing Director, Grameen Phone Ltd during the leadership of Grameen Phone‟s two most successful Country Head‟s Trond Moe & Ola Ree. Over the past 21 years of her professional career of which she had 16 years of Senior. Management position, she has gained extensive & versatile experience in the field of mainly telecommunication, large MNC and diversified, multi culture management. Her personal goal is to be able to empower, build & rightly place talents of Asia in the International & local market. Thus she wants to build a platform to voice Asian talents in the local & international arena through her CSR focused organization and able team members. Her wide exposure & multi- functional experience has groomed her for multi cultural environment, adaptable to change. Her expertise lies in leading, training small to very large teams. She is an articulate presenter. She is focused, self motivated & goal oriented. Profile: Naseem Ali Khan, Managing Partner A pioneer in Marketing and Management Solution in Bangladesh, currently involved as Managing Partner of TeleConsult Group and The Managing Director of Engineers Resources. His expertise helped a lot of businesses to flourish He led the marketing team of several large organizations and industries like National Engineering Works who are the leading manufacturer and fabricator of Electrical Sub- Station Panel Boxes and heavy Machinery spare parts. National Oxygen Ltd, producer of Oxygen, Nitrogen and Dissolved Acetylene Gases, both in Gaseous and Liquid Form. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of Agrani Shipping Agencies. He holds a Masters degree in Management and has also completed the Management Philosophy Course on Strategy Logistic & Policy with special reference to Patrimonial management System verses Professional Management System. A celebrated artist in Bangladesh involved in painting, music writing and Interior design. He won a national award from Chamber Of Commerce in pavilion design in 1997.   9. 9. ……profile continued He is the founder of Style Vision, a company which focuses on architectural building designs, interiors and Exteriors Façade and Manufacturer of office and home furniture. The pioneer member of the legendary musical band named SOULS with 12 hit Albums, a composer and writer with special focus on lyrics. A passionate painter who has mastered in Oil paintings, water color, Pastels, pencils & charcoals sketches. His success and awards came from various sectors. He won awards thrice as a child artist from home and abroad. He was awarded as the Best Band Vocalist for the year of 2008 from TRUP, Television Journalist Association. Best Band Award of 2006 was given to him and his band SOULS by Meril Prothom Alo. He is a very social person and is a permanent member of Gulshan Club Ltd. Chittagong Club Ltd. and Bhatiary Golf Club. He is very involved in sports activities and is a regular tennis and Golf player. His social contribution is focused on promoting Bangladesh and devotes his time in many Social Welfare activities.   10. 10. Profile: Rubaiyet Sabbir, Chief Operating Officer Rubaiyet Sabbir, is working as COO of TeleConsult Group. He has brought along 8 years of professional experience in various Multinational and International Companies such as DHL, Heidelberg cement, Cobra Group Australia and Group Manager . HROD of a local group of companies He has gathered experience from running groups of telemarketing team for various clients like AMEX, Telstra, Save the Children (Australia), Energy Australia as crew manager. He was awarded Leadership award for two consecutive years by Cobra Group for his outstanding leading capabilities. His telemarketing and direct sales team achieved tremendous success in achieving sales target for the clients. He also shouldered additional responsibility and was in charge of the brand promotion of Heidelberg Cement Group‟s several promotional projects. He was selected as a core member to participate actively in organizing and supervising the brand transition process of a local company. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Charles Stuart University, Australia.   12. 12. Profile: Nisbat Anwar, Chief Operating Officer, Internal Affairs & HROD Nisbat Anwar is currently working as Chief Operating Officer, Internal Affairs & HROD in TeleConsult Group. She has been working in HR field for more than 6 years. She has been working in Managerial position in local group of companies during these years. Overall her total working experience is almost 10 years in various sector. Nisbat started to work just after her graduation in 1999 in a Local Photo Agency named MAP as a Finance Advisor. She used to handle all the accounts related work for various project on behalf of MAP. During that time she handled one of the big project under Canadian CIDA. As a part time job she started working in a renowned English Medium School in Dhaka as an English Teacher. She enjoyed every moment of her teaching experience as she was able to contribute in education sector of Bangladesh, also as she got the opportunity to mix with various types of people in terms of students, parents, teachers. She will always treasure the experience of it, as she got lot of respect & love from her students, parents & colleagues. She completed her Masters on Management during this time from a local University. She worked in a local ICT group of companies (Genesis Technology Group) for more than 5 years as a HR & Admin. personnel. Total number of Human Resource of that group were 220+. She used to work directly with Group CEO, Group COO and other high management people, which helped her a lot to gain experience in Corporate field. With Ms. Chowdhury‟s supervision and along with her HROD team she had completed some major tasks for the Group. Some of them are HR Policy, Environment, Safety & Security awareness programme, Introducing Inventory/Asset tracking system, Developing HRIS project, various Admin. related tasks, Office Management etc. She has a very good written & oral communication skills. Her expertise lies in leading, understanding and managing large teams. Her personal goal is to be able to establish herself in the highest position in Corporate world, also to establish a point that anything is possible for woman if she wishes to do so. She is very grateful to her supportive family, especially to her parents who have taught her how to fight against all odd and be happy in life. As her mother was an active business woman, from her she has learned how to become a good manager. That‟s why she is able to balance her professional & personal life smoothly. Her husband, Mr. Bashir Ahmed Sujan, a Photographer is the inner strength of all her activities, and their only son, Nafias Ahmed, who is only 3 years is the greatest gift of her life. By looking at him, she can easily forget all her stress& frustration and starts her life with a new gear.
