Genesis 45:25-28<br />So they went up out of Egypt and came to the land of Canaan to their father Jacob. And they told him, “Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt.” And his heart became numb, for he did not believe them.  But when they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said to them, and when he saw the wagons that Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of their father Jacob revived.  And Israel said, “It is enough; Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”<br />

Genesis 46:1-4<br />So Israel took his journey with all that he had and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac. And God spoke to Israel in visions of the night and said, “Jacob, Jacob.” And he said, “Here am I.”Then he said, “I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make you into a great nation. I myself will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also bring you up again, and Joseph's hand shall close your eyes.”<br />
  6. 6. God speaks to Jacob<br />Genesis 46:3-4<br />“Then he said, “I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make you into a great nation. I myself will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also bring you up again, and Joseph’s hand shall close your eyes.””<br />God said to Nik regarding RRCC - “I myself will go with you” as we move out!<br />

God speaks to RRCC<br />As we move out <br />We are not to fear<br />God is with us - Trust him that he will go with us<br />All the promises will be fulfilled<br />God spoke – 8th December 2010<br />God says remind them of my grace – Such an amazing message.The best gift we can receive (Eph 2:1-10). <br />God says this is my church and I will accomplish all that I have said and promised!<br />

So what else has God said to us?<br />14th April 11, prayer meeting <br />Picture of bones beginning to rattle<br />Summary of words received<br />We need the Holy Spirit <br />Personal response <br />Church growth <br />Care of the church family <br />It’s a time for better surroundings <br />

What are we going to do?<br />New depth of worship of God<br />New premises <br />New ministries and revisited old ones <br />New Frontiers – more linked in<br />New Leaders – raise up and release of new leaders<br />New cell groups and the strengthen of the current ones<br />New mission – church planting and mission opps.<br />New team lead in Eldership  <br />New fun – Men’s surf trip Aug 11, Summer campAug 12<br />
  11. 11. We all need to respond?<br />How should we respond?<br />Each of us to pursue God <br />All of us getting plugged into cell group<br /> All of us to be involved in serving  <br />To have fun and enjoy this journey together<br />
  12. 12. We all need to respond?<br />What if we don’t respond?<br />If you don’t engage – you will miss out, you could hinder those around you and rob the church of both yourself and others. This will have a significant impact!<br />In particular there are 2 areas<br />Men not leading in the things of God<br />Attitude regarding the church<br />
