Doing Transportation and Economic Development Differently

During the 2017 National Regional Transportation Conference, Dawn Espe and Staci Headley, Region Five Development Commission, introduced the economic development framework WealthWorks, which focuses on rural wealth creation as an economic development strategy. In this session, the framework was applied to developing an understanding of assets relating to transportation and how to develop a value chain.
