Implementation • Builds on the SBSP ▫ priority search corridors  identifying Bicycle Investment Routes  Guidance tool, not route guide. • Bicycle Investment Routes will happen ▫ over the course of many years and  in partnership with local and regional agencies. • Maintaining the system will be critical ▫ in providing safe and comfortable accommodations for bicycle users of all ages and abilities. 16

Key take aways • Visioning, Planning, Goals, Implementation are great – to a point. ▫ Use common sense and a mix of resources • The Plans are a guidance document and set out common goals for the road authorities. • If the opportunity's comes about: ▫ The connections from here to there might deviate from the line on the map. ▫ Lower priority routes might get done before high priority ones 17
