  3. 3. <ul><li>1)You borrowed 1,000 dollars from the bank. The interest rate is 5% annually how much will you owe the bank after 1,2,3 years. </li></ul><ul><li>2) What if you cant pay them back? Instead it takes you 20 years to pay them back, how much do you owe in the end? </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>1) The initial debt: 1,000 dollars. </li></ul><ul><li>Common Ratio: 5% or/and .05 </li></ul><ul><li>Equation: U n = U 1 R n-1 </li></ul><ul><li>Year 1: 1,050 dollars </li></ul><ul><li>For the remaining years I just continued the sequence to get the amount of debt that is accumulating. </li></ul><ul><li>Year 2: 1,102.5 </li></ul><ul><li>Year 3: 1,157.625 </li></ul>
