  1. 1. I T A L I A Since the Roman Empire, Italy has been one of greatest countries in Europe. It’s the country with the largest number of architectonic, cultural and historical wealth. Its territory, trough it’s not as vast as other countries, is very varied: in fact there are mountains (The Alps in the North, the Apennins in the Centre and in the Southern), vast hills and some planes. Thousands of kilometres of coasts increase the landscape’s variety of our peninsula.
