2. THREE WISE MEN COME ON 5th
In Spain, the Three Wise Men are the ones who bring the gifts. Their
names are Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar
3. THREE WISE MEN PARADE DAY
To celebrate their arrival, a parade is made in which Santa Claus, some
characters from animation movies like Mickey Mouse, the Three Wise Men
and their pages take part.
The parade moves while they throw candy.
A lot of young children dress up to participates.
You can listen to Christmas songs.
The Three Wise Men are usually inside the parade but in some cities they
ride on horses or camels.
9. 6th OF JANUARY
This is the day in which people open their presents because, when you
wake up, there are presents under your Christmas tree. Children still
believe that the Three Wise Men are real. When there aren ́t children in the
family, we give presents to each other. It ́s a beautiful day to share
happiness.
10. 6th OF JANUARY
On this day, we usually eat a cake called “Roscón”. Inside of it there are a
little figure and a bean. We cut in pieces and we share the “Roscón”. The
one who finds in his piece the figure has to put a crown in his head but the
one who has the bean has to pay the next year ́s “Roscón”
