  • Yes, I agree with this one. Wind energy is a useful source that we can use in lowering down our expenses. Wind energy together with a wind turbine lets us produce a very cheap source of electricity.

  2. 2. Never-ending resource <ul><li>Wind energy never runs out, like some other resources. </li></ul><ul><li>Wind is caused by temperature variations from the sun heating up the ground. As long as the sun is cooking, estimated to be another 4.5 billion years, there will always be wind. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Simple resource <ul><li>windmills need no traditional electrical source to run. They just sit and spin. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Cheap resource <ul><li>Wind energy is a lot cheaper than other energy resources because you don’t use big buildings to produce the energy, just windmills. </li></ul><ul><li>Depending on the wind turbine selected, the equipment can be low maintenance. </li></ul><ul><li>as noted by the American Wind Energy Association, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association and others--wind is currently the most cost-effective source of renewable energy </li></ul>
  5. 5. Any location <ul><li>you can find wind anywhere so you could get energy wherever you want. </li></ul><ul><li>wind sources are not limited to certain countries </li></ul>

Good for the Earth <ul><li>Wind energy lowers dependence on fossil fuel use. </li></ul><ul><li>windmills don’t produce greenhouse gases </li></ul><ul><li>No pollution or waste is generated by the system in its operation. </li></ul><ul><li>Windmills have little threat to wildlife and natural habitat. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Electricity generated <ul><li>high amount of electricity can be generated </li></ul><ul><li>Wind turbines connect to electric power grids and supply energy to a large consumer base. </li></ul>
