  • This nursery rhyme, as many others, is a beautiful hymn to innocence and to childhood. The child that lives in us never ceases to love this kind of rhymes. Some say that we only 'loose' our childhood and innocence when we lost our mother... even if we are forty, fifty or sixty! After my mother's death I experienced that sense of loss, but now that I lost the other members of my nuclear family (after a terrible Winter of deep pain) I begin to find again little sparkles of life here and there: the first 'place' where I found it was Nature, the second was (once again) imagination, creation and innocence. After so many tragedies, I still consider I'm lucky because I have it all in my beloved daughter (imagination, creation and innocence). Thank you for this peaceful and tender moment. Um grande abraço e muitas felicidades.
