  1. 1. Ginger Shrimp My Way. Step by Step Demonstration By John Rozmeski
  2. 2. Step 1: Ingredients <ul><li>Head to your favorite local market. </li></ul><ul><li>What you will need </li></ul>
  3. 3. Shrimp & Ginger <ul><li>Any type of Shrimp will work fine </li></ul>
  4. 4. Cilantro, Green Onions and Garlic <ul><li>The amounts will very on personal preference. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Oyster Sauce & Soy Sauce <ul><li>The brand and amount will be personal preference. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Water, Flour (or Cornstarch) & Oil <ul><li>Cornstarch and and oil type are personal preference. </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>Red Pepper , Black Pepper or Salt & Sugar </li></ul>Optional Ingredients
  8. 8. Step 2: Wash Your Hands
  9. 9. Step 3: Clean and Wash Shrimp <ul><li>Shell on or Shell off? </li></ul>
  10. 10. Step 4: Peel and Dice Ginger
  11. 11. Step 5: Repeat step 4 <ul><li>Dice garlic </li></ul>
  12. 12. Step 6: Add Garlic and Ginger into a Blender <ul><li>Amounts will very but you don’ t want to add to much garlic and take away from Ginger. You can also use a grader for Ginger. </li></ul>
  13. 13. Step 7: Wash Cilantro and Green Onions
  14. 14. Step 8: Dice Cilantro <ul><li>Put to the side you will add to dish later </li></ul><ul><li>Amounts will very </li></ul>
  15. 15. Step 8: Add water to flour <ul><li>Whisk until it forms a paste and set to the side </li></ul>
  16. 16. Step 9: Pre Heat Pan or Wok <ul><li>At this time add 2 table spoons of oil and wait for pan to get hot </li></ul>
  17. 17. Step 10: Add Ginger and Garlic to pan <ul><li>Let ginger and garlic cook for a one minute, do not allow to burn </li></ul>
  18. 18. Step 11: Add Shrimp <ul><li>Allow to turn Color Slightly </li></ul>
  19. 19. Step 11: Add Oyster Sauce and Soy Sauce
  20. 20. Step 12: Add Water and Cover <ul><li>Add a little water 2 tablespoons and allow to cook covered for 1-2 minutes, and reduce heat to med. </li></ul>
  21. 21. Step 13: Add Cilantro and Green Onions <ul><li>I use a lot more Cilantro about a 80 to 20 ratio. </li></ul>
  22. 22. Step 14: Cover <ul><li>Cook covered for another ½ - 1 minute </li></ul><ul><li>Cooking time may vary. </li></ul>
  23. 23. Step 15: Uncover and add optional ingredients & flour mix <ul><li>Red pepper, black pepper, salt. </li></ul><ul><li>I like to a 2 teaspoons of sugar </li></ul><ul><li>Add flour mixture to thicken </li></ul>

  25. 25. Step 17: Plate and Serve <ul><li>Add left over Cilantro for garnishing </li></ul>
