  2. 2. Energy Conversion <ul><li>Energy Can be converted from one form to another </li></ul><ul><li>Energy Conversion = is the changing one form of energy to another form </li></ul><ul><li>Ex. Light bulb turns Electrical Energy into thermal energy and electromagnetic energy </li></ul>
  3. 3. Conservation of Energy <ul><li>Law of Conservation of Energy = Energy cannot be created or destroyed. </li></ul><ul><li>Energy is converted from one form to another. </li></ul><ul><li>The force of friction causes energy to be converted to thermal energy. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Energy Conversions <ul><li>Most common energy conversion is between potential energy and kinetic energy. </li></ul><ul><li>Gravitational Potential Energy of an object is converted to the kinetic energy of motion as an object falls. </li></ul>
