  4. 4. <ul><li>Buses drop off on the South side of the school. Parents drop off on the North side of school. </li></ul><ul><li>Building opens at 7:00 a.m.—if you are here you must enter—no hanging around outside! At 7:00 a.m., the only door open to students is the Car Rider door on the North side of the building. </li></ul><ul><li>Students may enter the building through all three main doors (Car Rider, Front, Bus) beginning at 7:30. </li></ul><ul><li>Any students riding “wheels” to school need to secure the “wheels” either outside (bicycles) or in their lockers (skateboards). After arriving on school property, “wheels” may not be ridden. </li></ul>Morning Procedures
  5. 5. <ul><li>Students sit quietly in your assigned/grade-level area until 8:03 bell unless you have a written pass from a parent or faculty member to attend other activities, i.e. Tutorials or meetings. (6 th grade upper commons, 7 th grade lower commons stairs and 8 th grade lower commons) </li></ul><ul><li>Students needing to go to the library may go beginning at 7:45. If you go to the library, you must stay in the library until the 8:03 bell. </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>Students entering the building at or after 8:10 a.m. must go to the attendance window to get a LATE ENTRY PASS. This pass will either say “To Cafeteria or To class.” </li></ul><ul><li>If you are not eating breakfast, get materials for your day and go to class. </li></ul><ul><li>If eating breakfast, go straight to cafeteria. </li></ul><ul><li>All students are expected to be in advisory at 8:10. </li></ul>HOME
  7. 7. <ul><li>WALK on RIGHT SIDE of hall. </li></ul><ul><li>Keep hands, feet, and objects to self. </li></ul><ul><li>Use inside voice level and school appropriate language. </li></ul><ul><li>Use lockers only during designated passing periods. </li></ul><ul><li>Talk while walking. </li></ul><ul><li>Respond respectfully to ALL adult re-direction. </li></ul>HOME
  8. 8. <ul><li>Remain seated unless walking with a purpose: i.e. throw away trash, clean up spills, go to restroom. </li></ul><ul><li>Speak in an inside voice. </li></ul><ul><li>Consume all food and drinks in the cafeteria. </li></ul><ul><li>Clean up your area; place food and drinks in trash. </li></ul>Cafeteria Expectations
  9. 9. <ul><li>WALK to and from the cafeteria in an ORDERLY fashion. </li></ul><ul><li>Stand and wait in line respectfully, keeping hands, feet and objects to yourself. </li></ul><ul><li>Walk to your seat with your tray or food. </li></ul><ul><li>Seats are “first come, first serve.” </li></ul><ul><li>Expect to stay in the cafeteria until dismissed at 8:03am. </li></ul>
  10. 10. Lunch Expectation <ul><li>Bring lunches to class before lunch. </li></ul><ul><li>Sit in assigned Team area until released by lunch monitor to get lunch. </li></ul><ul><li>Lunch Monitor will release you by table to return to class. </li></ul>Lunch Expectations HOME
  11. 11. <ul><li>Restrooms are to be used during Passing Periods. </li></ul><ul><li>Passes and restrooms are color coded. Use assigned restroom. You must have a pass. </li></ul><ul><li>During class periods, students will have 3 passes, per class, per semester to exit the class. </li></ul><ul><li>Students may not exit class at all during first 10 minutes or last 10 minutes of class. </li></ul><ul><li>Must return with pass in a reasonable amount of time. </li></ul>

  13. 13. <ul><li> 1) Respect for People </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Be polite and considerate </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>2) Respect for Materials — books, AV and equipment, magazines, computers. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>No food or drink </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>3) No gum !!!!! </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Always come with a pass. </li></ul><ul><li>Computers are for school-related searching only. </li></ul><ul><li>Feel free to ask questions ! </li></ul>Library Expectations HOME
  14. 14. <ul><li>No gum, food or drink in the lab. </li></ul><ul><li>Personal belongings should remain on the floor. </li></ul><ul><li>Use time for completing assigned task. </li></ul><ul><li>Clean up after yourself. </li></ul><ul><li>Respect all computer equipment and people. </li></ul><ul><li>Log off computers at end of period or shut down at end of day. </li></ul>Computer Lab Expectations HOME
  15. 15. <ul><li>3:30 p.m. Students exit building. </li></ul><ul><li>Students are responsible for bringing their materials with them at the end of the day. The hall doors will be locked at 3:40 p.m. </li></ul><ul><li>Any student attending after school activities (clubs/tutorials) report to cafeteria by 3:40. </li></ul>
  16. 16. <ul><li>3:45 students in the cafeteria should expect club sponsor or teacher to pick them up. </li></ul><ul><li>All students exiting the campus after 3:40 must exit through the cafeteria. </li></ul><ul><li>You may call home from a classroom when finished with an after school activity. A pass will be given to you to re-enter the cafeteria in order to leave the school. </li></ul>HOME
