What is the Title of my chosen song ?• ‘On Every Street’• OverviewA detective is questioning why he is still on a case, trying to solve the ‘murder’ of an attractive woman, struggling to bring anyone to justice.
Who is my target audience?People who enjoy the idea of mystery and typicalpolice shows such as New Tricks and The Bill. ALTHOUGH- Music videos do not currently have any certification specifications my music videoWhy ? wouldnt be suitable forThe Film is focused around a detective/policeman anyone under the age of 12.trying to solve a ‘suspected’ murder.
What Genre/type of music video ? My MV (Music Video) is more of a short story with a musicalaccompaniment than the basic MV that’s so often seen. Relying heavily on Goodwins analysis of Lyrics to Visuals. If it was to be given a genre it would be mystery drama
What other mainstream videos will mine be similar to ? Adele ‘Someone like you’ (The Black and white almost melancholy feeling ) Ed Sheeran – A Team (The Dark/sad story thatmakes you think about the lyrics) Ed Sheeran – Small Bump (Meaningful lyrics accompanied with appropriate visuals).
The Narrative of my MVSet in a police station there isonly 3 characters; policeman, victim and suspect. Only really one set; The police solving room. In the hope that with the use of interesting shots and ideas you will forget its only in one room.
How will I demonstrate my creativity? • ‘The moving picture sequence’One of the pictures on the case board will begin to move and become a video. • ‘The reflection shot’ Main character looks out the window and on the glass is a clip from the dead womans life. • ‘The change of drink shot’ The Main character will be drinking a glass of scotch but it will turn to blood as he thinks of the girls death.
