Leaders are people who help make
important decisions. Community leaders take
responsibility for the well-being and
improvement of their communities.

Mayor The City Hall
 The Mayor is the elected
leader of a local government.
Some communities also have
city councils, which are
elected official that work with
the mayor to set laws and run
the community.
 The City Hall is the center of government
a city. The Mayor, City Council members
and most of the city officials work here.
Together, they are responsible for
making your city a good place to live
and work.
