About the AAACC The AAACC is a place in Some Staff Members the Western Addition community where people can socialize and learn about visual arts. It provides multiple uses Conference for the community, such Room as providing a hall for Hall of Culture event or a board room for conferences. The people that are apart of the AAACC are all very open and welcoming to all within
  3. 3. Mission Statement:“The African American Art and Culture Complex (AAACC) is a community based, 501(c)3 arts and cultural organization. Our mission is to empower our community through Afro-centric artistic and cultural expression, mediums, education and programming.We are dedicated to inspiring children and youth to serve as agents of change, cultivating their leadership skills and fostering a commitment to community service and activism. In addition, we encourage, support and promote the work of young, aspiring Bay Area artists. We also strive to develop partnerships with organizations that are similarly committed to our mission, and offer our space to the community for special events.”

  5. 5. Fiscal Sponsorship ProgramFiscal Sponsors: Create Files Afro Solo  Make sure all forms are in Mo’ Magic place. Robert Henry Johnson  Edit Forms to make more efficient for Fiscal Sponsor.  Provide documentation for Audit.  Update files so they are current. Robert Henry Johnson
  6. 6. Contribution’s List Provides a database for Executive Director and Board Members to track contributions made to AAACC. Can document correspondence made between contributors and AAACC
  7. 7. Filling New Tenant and Parking Permit Files Working with Program Manager
  8. 8. Tenant/Parking Permit Files •AAACC provides rental space for visual arts organizations that are also 501 (c) (3) and have a similar mission statement. The rent is purposefully kept low to allow these organizations to grow and expand within the community. • AAACC also provides parking for those within the community at a low cost as well. Monthly parking costs $ and anyone is able to apply for a space. • My objective was to update all files, this included the creation of a rent payment log system and also making sure all information (insurance, program plans, etc) was current. This will make the auditing process and rental system overall more accurate for the AAACC.

Employee Request Forms Forms Included: Why Important? Check & Credit Card Request  Provides uniformity and Reimbursement Request consistency for executive director Vacation Request and employees. Contract Laborer Request for  Allows documentation to be more Payment well-organized.  Implements rules more efficiently.
