31. 31. Escape to this Place

I like to travel and create artwork of where I have been or sometimes create places imagined. I hope you have enjoyed “Escape to this Place”. Inspiration comes in many forms; people, books, art, shadows, light, relationships, simple pleasures. I create to express an emotional response in colors, shapes and lines. I desire to capture the wind in the trees, the atmospheric reflections of dawn and dusk, and places of serenity. When I create landscapes I personify the skies and trees through color and movement. Several of the landscape terrains flow on to the paper as no specific place, gathered from memories or symbolically formed while others clearly take you to a recognizable area.

Pedrero is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America .
