    1. 1. Poetry Anthology By MeganAn im a l Po ems
    2. 2. Puppies Very furry, In a hurry, Tennis ball there!Megan Hermann: http://blogs.isb.ac.th/meganh/36-2/ But the frisbee is where? FOOD! How would you live without it? What would you do about it? Fast, Fast, There at last, very furry, in a hurry. TOYS! Red toy there, Blue toy here, My toys are everywhere! Yummy, Yummy Must chew, Stop chewing, how could you? Talking, barking, having fun in the sun. But- The silent night is such a fright So lonely, so lonely, I cry to the moon, Will daylight be here soon?
    3. 3. Reflection For “Puppies” In this poem I used a lot of rhyming, and My poem“Puppies” is from my heart. Also I have a dog mango whomeans a lot to me and she is also in the photo I took of her. I think that it was easy to write because if you have a dog you know all the things they like and how they act.
    4. 4. Cats jackhynes: http://www.flickr.com/photos/85088843@N00/2383387459/ Meow, meow At someones feet, such a friendly greet. Fur so soft, Looking at the ball aloft. Alone in the house, silent enough to catch a mouse. light as a feather, Big eyes soft and comforting, delicate as a swan, Beautiful as dawn.
    5. 5. Reflection for “Cats” In my poem “Cats” I used a lot of rhyming and I used some similes. Even though I am allergic tocats I have always wanted one as a Pet. It was easy for me to write the poem “Cats” because I knowwhat they do because a lot of my friends have cats.
    6. 6. Squirrels JennyRunner: http://www.flickr.com/photos/25147513@N04/3220455055/ Climbing trees, Running on wires, Eating nuts, No Trees, All people, No home.
    7. 7. Reflection For “Squirrels”In my poem “Squirrels” the topic is from my heart. I learned a lot about squirrels at my summer camp and in Thailand seeing them run across wires. And because a lot of trees are being cut down it effects animals like squirrels.
    8. 8. by Chicago Man: http://www.flickr.com/photos/74373690@N00/5165455302/ Birds Flying through the black air, Buildings sketched high with the black smoke. Not a home, Not a tree, Nothing but a city, With clouds of smoke, But the birds still fly, Still eat, Still live.
    9. 9. Reflection For “Birds” In my poem “Birds” the topic is from my heart. It was easy for me to write my poem “Birds” becauseI learned a lot about birds like the Kingfisher at our class field trip to the mangrove forest and even got to look at some birds through our binoculars.
    10. 10. Cows By Darin: http://www.flickr.com/photos/carquestguy/2558279101/ Grazing on the grass, Watching time go pass. Giving milk for us, Black and white, Drinking water, Everything is silent But If you listen carefullyYou can hear their gentle moos.
    11. 11. My Poetry Reflection for “ CowsIn my poem “Cows” I used some rhyming and I got my topic from my heart. Cows mean a lot to me because my grandfather sticks his head out the window, moo’s, and looks at the cows to see if any of them looked up.
    12. 12. REFLECTIONI chose the topic “Animals” because I like animals and I find it hard to write about anything else. I think that it was easy to write poems under the topic “Animals” because I learned a lot aboutanimals with other people and in a lot of different places. As a writer I learned that as soon as you start writing a poem it’s hard to stop.
