  2. 2. Introduction to Dr. Zimmerman <ul><li>Michael R. Zimmerman, M.D., Ph.D. is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Villanova University Biology Department and the Department of Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania. </li></ul><ul><li>His courses include Forensic Anthropology, Evolutionary Transitions, Medical Anthropology, Paleopathology, History of Disease, and Human Evolution. </li></ul><ul><li>His medical career was as Director of Clinical Laboratories in hospitals in Philadelphia and New York. </li></ul><ul><li>His medical research was in the field of clinical pathology, primarily laboratory robotics. </li></ul><ul><li>His research in pale pathology involved the study of ancient remains, both mummified and skeletal, from Alaska, Egypt, Peru, Africa and Europe. He is co-Director of the Anthropology Lecture Series at Villanova. </li></ul>

Zimmerman's research material, papers, articles, reports, books and all of his studies. </li></ul><ul><li>The different collections in the library include digital media and digitized lecture materials related to Dr. Zimmerman’s research including images, educational activities in PDF, Excel sheets, PPTs, videos and html formats. </li></ul>
