  8. 8. Buckingham Palace was built in1703 and it is the biggest royalpalace in the world. It is the officialresidence of the British monarchs.
  9. 9. When the Queen is athome the royal standard isat the top of the Palace.
  10. 10. Every day at 11.30 fromApril to July there is theChanging of the Guardsin front of the Palace.And you?Why are youstanding here?

  13. 13. Tower of London is a historic castle.It is almost 1000 years old. It wasa fortress, a prison and a palace.

  16. 16. The bridge was officially opened on 30 June1894. The bridge consists of two towers tiedtogether at the upper level by means of twohorizontal walkways. It is a bascule bridgeso the ships can sail under it when it opens.
