The changing of beliefs <ul><li>Like most of us, you lowered your standards with the advent of our peer groups. </li></ul><ul><li>“ You’re not fast enough to play in our team.” </li></ul><ul><li>Don't ever stop believing in yourself!   7. 7. Conditioning <ul><li>Condition your attitude. Do something you love at the beginning of each and every day. </li></ul><ul><li>Start your engine. Start the day well. </li></ul><ul><li>Musician? Play an instrument. Athlete?   8. 8. Focus on solutions, not problems <ul><li>If one of your team comes to you with a problem don’t solve it for them!   10. 10. How do we go about setting goals? <ul><li>Visually . If you really want a boat cut out the picture of it. Look at it every day. </li></ul><ul><li>Seeing it, knowing it can be real . The more you look at it the more it will become the truth. </li></ul><ul><li>Saying it: tell yourself how wonderful life is 500 times in the next 24 hours. Achieving that goal <ul><li>Drive ourselves towards achieving that goal. </li></ul><ul><li>Ask yourself: Why do I want the goal? </li></ul><ul><li>(Safety, love, adrenalin, importance, learning, achieving or giving?) </li></ul><ul><li>Write how you would feel as if you had already achieved that goal. </li></ul><ul><li>Make sure that the goal is focused on you.
