July 1996 Dysproteinemia and Renal Diseases Nephrology Grand Rounds Case presentation of an actual patient, extensive discussion of different diagnosis and management. 1985 Proteinuria Following Renal Transplantation Research project presented at Division of Nephrology, University of Florida in Gainesville (The study investigates the significance of proteinuria in 68 renal transplanted patients at UF between 1968 and 1986 and its relation with allograft survival.) Renal osteodystrophy, 125(OH)2 Vit D3 treatment and patient’s survival. 1998 – 1999 (Research project in progress) (120 patients started on alendronate between 1996 and 1999 at UKMC, as a major treatment of osteoporosis, this study investigates the observed statistically significant relation between PTH increment and improvement of BMD and decreased fracture risk.) 1998 – 1999 (Research project in progress) (This project investigates the novel therapeutic use of bisphosphonate in diseases other than osteoporosis, which have otherwise very poor prognosis and often fa tal outcome, using bisphosphonate in these unfortunate young patients presented to our bone/renal clinic at UKMC whose ages ranged between 16 and 27 years old.
