  • Internal Medicine Rotation Overview: To develop and nurture pharmacotherapeutic knowledge and patient care skills in internal medicine through practical and academic learning experiences which will foster mastery in understanding disease state pathophysiology, developing, implementing, and monitoring drug regimens for disease state management, using evidence-based medicine, provision of unbiased, drug information to health care providers, and educating patients regarding disease states, drug therapy, and compliance. Students may round on nutrition support, pharmacokinetic, and anemia patients.
