Richard Wainford, an Assistant Professor at Boston University, fulfills a number of obligations for the school. Beyond teaching students through the Department of Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics, part of the School of Medicine, Wainford acts as the Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute Seminar Coordinator, and he oversees PhD candidate dissertations. Richard Wainford also performs a considerable amount of research as part of his position; at present, he is studying blood pressure regulation through a grant provided by the National Institutes of Health and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute.
