Akin l'ona el camino de la iluminacion Yoruba

  1. 1. AKIN L’ONA When Odu Ifá are grouped together in sequences they can be used as a map to guide consciousness through specific areas of personal development. The hero’s journey is a particular sequence that takes consciousness through the transcendent cycle of transformation and rebirth. The hero is called to adventure (Ose´tura), takes courageous action in a journey through the wilderness (Okanran Meji), discovers sacred medicine (Okanran Oturupon), and returns to the mundane world with the newly discovered magic potion (Otura Ogunda). This cycle applies to the internal search for courage needed by both men and women to embrace the challenge of personal development appropriate to each stage of personal growth. This cycle cannot begin until after the individual becomes conscious of self. This stage of the hero’s journey is described in the Ifá Odu called Ogunda Meji Orunmila says that on entering a room with a low door, we automatically bow. Ifá says the question is; ¨ Who among the deities accompanies their followers on every journey, without ever turning back?¨ Sango replied that he accompanies his followers on every journey, without turning back. They asked him: But what if, after a long journey, walking and walking, you arrive at Coos, home of your fathers and they cook bean soup and make yam pudding and give you kola and a rooster?¨ Sango said. Äfter such satisfaction I return home.¨ Then Sango was told that he could not accompany his followers on a far journey without turning back. Ifá said.Öri alone accompanies their followers on every journey, without ever turning back. Ose´tura is saying humans cannot separate themselves from communication with Spirit without suffering the consequences of their arrogance. The hero’s journey leads to an increase in personal power. Every increase in personal power requires an increase in spiritual protection. Ebora are the Orisa we turn to for spiritual protection. irawo ayiwo y owi marilaye (las estrellas del cielo y los 4 vientos) Cuando este oddun sale durante al iniciacion en ugbodu, a la persona iniciada se le debera hacer que siembre tres arboles del modo siguiente: ege (igui ege en yoruba o erhan uwa en bini), 1.- un gallo para sembrar un arbol ege (llamado isa en bini). 2.- la cabeza de una boa para sembrar ebe (alaho en bini). 3.- el carnero pera sembrar ukpogun-kperegun y la piedra obtenida el lecho de un rio crecido se utliliza para preparar a esu para el.
