Fictional genres

  4. 4. Historical Fiction Put an H next to this type of book. <ul><li>A story with fictional characters and events that take place in an historically accurate setting and time. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Mystery Put an M next to the Mystery books you have read. <ul><li>A story that usually involves solving a crime. It will use suspense and clues to drive the story to a solution at the end. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Realistic Fiction Put an R next to these type of books. <ul><li>A story that could happen in real life. It has a current setting and everyday problems. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Science Fiction Put an S next to these types of books on your list. <ul><li>A futuristic story that contains technology and/or science beyond our present capabilities. </li></ul>
