  2. 2. THE VR BRIEF QANTAS Qantas asked Start VR to help them use VR to connect with travellers by showcasing parts of Australia they may not be familiar with - with the objective to increase flight bookings to these remote locations
  3. 3. QANTAS VR EXPERIENCE THE APPLICATION Travellers who are curious about travelling to Australia can now experience a series of immersive 360° videos that highlight the key tourist attractions found on Qantas flight routes
  4. 4. 360 VIDEO DISPLAY VR CONTENT MENU The Stargate app framework provides an interactive content menu, with secure multi-channel content distribution for 360 video which can be tracked by heat map analytics. New videos can be added via the Stargate CMS by Qantas at any time and users are sent push notifications alerts for content updates.
  5. 5. VR MEDIA FIRST A UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE Available for Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive devices, the Qantas VR app shows users a sneak peek of Australia's most beautiful scenery, including a world first: a virtual fly over of Uluru.
  6. 6. MOBILE INTEGRATION IOS / ANDROID The VR mobile application can be downloaded for free by all smartphone users. There is a built in VR on/off mode for switching between 2D “Magic Window” and a 3D view for VR headsets.
  7. 7. DIGITAL INTEGRATION ONLINE CONVERSION Anyone with an iPhone or Android phone can take a virtual tour of the various Qantas travel destinations, then a unique ‘Book Now’ button takes the user straight to the appropriate flight booking details page as the primary call to action
  8. 8. BRANDED GOOGLE CARDBOARD CONSUMER OUTREACH Start VR can organise branded Google cardboard to ensure those without VR headsets can still enjoy your VR experience
