  2. 2. Goal : To determine the effectiveness of the dual language program at Runn Elementary in comparison to non dual language programs within the district, region, and state. Action Step(s) Person(s) Responsible Timeline: Start/End Needed Resources Evaluation <ul><li>Identify 5 comparison campuses – 1 non dual language campus from each of the 4 regions in Texas along with 1 non dual language campus from within the district. </li></ul>Reynaldo P. Flores 8/01/10 – 8/31/10 Computer Internet Printer Comparison campuses: one will be from within the district, one will be predominately White (>70%), one predominately African American (>70%), one predominately Hispanic (>70%), and one with an equal distribution of Hispanics, Whites, and African Americans.

Action Step(s) Person(s) Responsible Timeline: Start/End Needed Resources Evaluation <ul><li>Analyze, interpret, and input TAKS assessment data into tracking spreadsheets (Reading, Writing, Math, & Science) for grades 3-5 for Runn Elementary & each of the 5 non dual language comparison campuses (years 2007-2009). </li></ul>Reynaldo P. Flores 9/01/10 – 10/31/10 Computer Internet Printer Peers (1 for each comparison campus) will examine data for each campus and check for accuracy and correct any inaccurate data.

Flores 11/01/10 – 11/15/10 Computer Internet Excel PowerPoint Color Printer Peers (1 for each comparison campus) will examine data for each campus and check for accuracy and identify any inaccurate data.
