  1. 1. VERB TO BE The verb TO BE is particulary important in English language. They correspond to the verbs “ésser” i “estar”. (El verb To be té una importància especial en anglès. Es correspon als verbs "ésser" i "estar"). I am English / Sóc anglès I am in England / Estic a Anglaterra It has some specials uses (Té alguns usos especials): - Serveix per a expressar ledat: Mary is 20 years old / Maria té 20 anys I am 21 / Jo tinc 21 anys How old are you? / Quants anys tens? - Per a expressar les sensacions (tenir). Are you hungry? / Tens fam?
