  3. 3.  It’s a study of microorganism. It’s a biology of microscopic organisms or life too small to be seen with the naked eye. Microbiology has several disciplines including bacteriology ,virology, mycology. Specialties within microbiology may include Microbial physiology ,Microbial genetics and evolution ,Environmental microbiology, Industrial microbiology, Food microbiology, & Pharmaceutical microbiology.
  4. 4.  Observing , monitoring & identifying micro organism Monitoring and assessing samples from environment, raw materials, finished products, food ,water. Developing new techniques, products & processes . Growing microbial culture. Following regular sampling schedules within a specific environment.
  5. 5.  Quality control in manufacturing processes. E.g. : Checking for signs of contamination. Analysis of samples using analytical techniques. Preparing and sterilize the base media according to testing procedures to perform the tests.
  6. 6.  Bachelors Degree in microbiology or biotechnology qualified for lab assistants or technician. Master degree or Ph.D required for research position.
