Warnings are generated based on graded performance, late or missing coursework, or attendance within the online course. The instructor can choose to communicate a particular warning to just the student, the student and a parent or advisor that is assigned as an Observer.
Set the warning rules: You can set the warning rules by grades, due dates and course access
A grade rule identifies when student performance on an Assignment, Assessment, or manually graded item is equal to or below a certain level.
Note: The Early Warning System is linked to the Gradebook.
To send a notification via email place a check mark beside the specific students you wish to notify. Next choose whether your notification options.

Assessment box in the Control Panel.
Select the ‘Grade Rule’

Early Earning System is not constantly
running in the background and so you will
need to regularly refresh to show the
accurate results to trigger a warning.
Place a check mark to the left of the rule
you wish to refresh
Then click on the ‘refresh’ icon in the
